Importers’ sub- module
This sub-system comprises Registration of Importers, tracking status of their agreements and filing of quarterly/periodic e-Returns. The steps are…
Importers can submit request on the web-form for Registration
Based on the importer’s country of origin, the Agreement draft for that jurisdiction would be made available to the importer for download and dispatch to Tea Board. A temporary license number and password would be issued for tracking the status of the importer’s application on the web
The authorized official of Tea Board can download those Request form and periodically update the status of that application (e.g. Awaiting Agreement, Agreement received, In-process, Application Approved, Permanent License# issued, etc.)
Using the Permanent license number and the Password, the importer can file their Returns on the web form quarterly or as and when required.
The authorized official of DSS can download those Returns for merging with their application database. The downloaded Returns data are simultaneously flagged off on the web database
